How do I cancel the trial period?

Your free trial is ending automatically after 14 days — completely without cancellation or any actions  on your part.

If you want to continue using the platform afterwards, you can upgrade your plan to a paid subscription any time directly in the platform.

Why try the free trial period?

The trial period is important to many users as it provides a first-hand look at the management portal. It also allows you to view the trainings in full length before inviting the entire workforce, making it possible to gather feedback from colleagues.

How does the free trial period work?

You will receive for 14 days full access to the IS-FOX platform — completely free of charge and without providing payment details.During this time, you can, for example, invite employees, start training courses and test all functions in peace and quiet.

Here's how to start the free trial period:


  1. Select your desired plan and click on “Try for free”.
  2. Create an account — quickly and without payment details.
  3. Get started right away with your team!

Can licenses be removed or transferred?

Yes, licenses can be removed from employees as long as they have not yet been used. This is, for example, relevant when employees leave the company and new employees join the company.

When is a license considered 'used'?

A license is 'available' if it has not yet been assigned to an employee.

A license is considered 'unused' if it has been assigned to an employee but the employee has not started any course.

A license is considered ‘used’ as soon as the respective employee has started at least one course. Once a license is ‘used’, it can no longer be transferred. At the end of the current term, a new term begins automatically (unless it has been canceled). From then on, all assigned licenses are again considered ‘unused’.

Can I adjust the number of licenses?

Yes - you can make changes both during the free trial period and while you're on an active subscription.

1. During the free trial period

  • Licenses: You can increase or decrease the number of licenses yourself directly in the platform as part of the upgrade to a paid subscription.
  • Plan & training areas: You can also adjust the selection of your plan and desired training areas during the upgrade.

2. During an active subscription

  • Increasing the number of licenses: You can book additional licenses directly in the training platform at any time. The change is effective immediately.
  • Reducing the number of licenses: A reduction will only take effect during the next contract period. Please contact our support team about this: support@is-fox.de
  • Plan & training areas: If you want to change your selection, contact our support team as well.

Note: The contract period remains unaffected by changes to the license quota, plan or training areas.

How long is the contract period? What happens after the license quota has been increased?

The contract period is 12 months. If the license quota is subsequently increased, the period remains unchanged.

Example: A company buys the Flex plan for 50 employees on April 1, 2024. The contract period starts on April 1, 2024 and ends on March 31, 2025. The company is now increasing the number of licenses included in the plan to 60. The contract period of the plan remains from April 1, 2024 until March 31, 2025.

How do the licenses / the number of employees work?

Your plan grants an annual quota of licenses. Each license gives one employee access to all training areas that are included in the plan.

Example: A company has purchased the Flex plan for 50 employees and selected the training areas 'Data Protection' and 'Cyber-Security.' This means that up to 50 employees can receive a license, allowing up to 50 employees to be enrolled in the 'Data Protection' and 'Cyber-Security' courses.

How do I add a license to an employee?

It's simple: automatically. A license is automatically added to employees when they are enrolled in their first course. That means:

a) You do not consume licenses when employees are created. Only when they are registered for the first time, licenses are assigned

b) No matter how many courses an employee is enrolled in, only one license is required per user

Example:

1. The company adds its first employee to the platform: Max Mustermann. No licenses are required to create employees, which is why 50 licenses are still available.

2. Max Mustermann is then enrolled in his first training course, 'Data Protection.' Therefore, a license is automatically assigned to it. 49 licenses are now still available for other employees.

3. Max is then enrolled in the 'Cyber-Security' course. Since Max has already been assigned a license, nothing changes: 49 licenses are still available for other employees.

Can I change my plan and selection of training areas?

Yes — you can make changes both during the free trial period and while you're on an active subscription.

1. During the free trial period

  • You can adjust your plan and desired training areas yourself at any time as part of the upgrade to a paid subscription.
  • Both an upgrade and a downgrade are possible.

2. During an active subscription

  • You can initiate changes (upgrade or downgrade) via our support team: support@is-fox.de
  • A Upgrade takes effect immediately.
  • A downgrade Only comes into force at the start of the next billing period.
  • The duration of your subscription remains the same.

Which languages are offered?

All training courses are offered in German and English. Further languages are planned for the future in the training platform. Seven additional languages are already available for custom solutions. So if you need additional languages right now, feel free to contact us for a custom solution.

What plans/packages are there and what do they include?

We offer two different plans: All-in-one and Flex.

The two plans differ in the number of training areas in which participants can be trained:

All-in-one: All 4 training areas

Flex: Flexible selection of 1-3 training areas

You can choose from the following training areas that we offer: data protection, occupational safety, cyber-security and compliance.

The selected number of users indicates the annual license quota, i.e. how many employees can be trained in a year in total.

Does training have to be set up manually every year?

No, the training does not have to be set up manually every year. Once set up, course participants automatically receive an invitation to next year's training. You don't have to do anything else.

Which payment methods are offered?

At the moment, we offer payment by credit card, SEPA direct debit and purchase by invoice/bank transfer.

Supported credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diners Club, China UnionPay, Debit Cards.

How do I set up my first training?

Option 1: Use our predefined learning plan

(Recommendation: Ideal for a quick start — put together by our experts)

  1. Navigate to the desired training area, e.g. data protection
    Our predefined learning plan consists of several coordinated training courses. The plan automatically invites you to a current follow-up course every year — so you always stay up to date.
  2. Click on 'Add Participant'
    Here, select the employees who should be assigned to the learning plan. If you haven't created any employees yet, you can also do this here.
  3. Click on 'Sign Up'
    Now click on 'Enroll, 'and your learning plan is active. Employees automatically receive an invitation to the first training from the learning plan.

 

Option 2: Use a stand-alone training

(Recommendation: If you want to offer specific training)

  1. Start on the overview
    Put a new Learning plan with a single training on — e.g. for a specific topic or specific training needs.
  2. Follow the remaining steps from variant 1
    Then assign participants to the training.

 

Option 3: Create your own learning plan with several trainings

(Recommendation: If you want to combine content individually)

  1. Start on the overview
    Create your own Learning plan with multiple training courses, which you put together yourself — according to the needs of your team.
  2. Continue as usual with 'Add participants, ''Create collaborator', etc.
    You then assign the individual learning plan.

How do my employees get access to the training?

  1. You add employees as course participants
  2. Course participants receive an invitation email with a direct link to the course
  3. If it is the first training for participants, they will be asked to set a password
  4. Let's go: The participants can now start their training!

Do I need to make an appointment with your Support or Sales team in order to set up the trainings?

No, you do not have to. Of course, we're happy to help, but you can set up training courses yourself in just a few clicks using our self-service training platform.

What training records, such as certificates, are available?

Training participants receive a PDF certificate after successful completion of a training. Administrators can also download a CSV certificate per training or learning plan and use it as proof for audits, authorities or insurance companies.
